A quiet dark corner in palace of justice in Brussels. At the time, the monument was being renovated but was accessible. Is the young woman introspective, is she looking for something? Perhaps she wants some peace in her mind and not to see anyone. Is it her way of enjoying the beauty of an old building, impermanent but monumental? Architecture from a distant past. The scant natural daylight that falls in shines on the girl with long blonde hair, dressed in a long classic brown dressing gown and the natural stone bare and cold columns. On the wide impressive staircase below, people, tourists, visitors and lovers of old urbex buildings, consisting of stone quarried from the mountains in a distant past, pass by. Colour seems absent, yet the palette of brown and grey tones is infinitely beautiful. We continue our journey past other beautiful buildings and parks through the city in the country of Belgium.
