In Tilburg there is one of the most photographed towers: Westpoint. Because I like to photograph buildings, I walked to the Westpoint tower one evening. It was hard to find the right vantage point to get the whole tower in focus. The image distortion was playing up too much so I ended up rotating the zoom lens, using a slower shutter speed. When I got home that night, this last approach appealed to me the most. The next evening I walked back to the Westpoint, it was cold and it had been raining. I sought out the same spot under the tree, and began zooming in and out with a slower shutter speed. After an hour, I had taken this picture: a beautiful palette of colors in which the shadow of the tree is also doing its best to get a spot in the picture.
This photo will look great in any Tilburger home, but also in interiors with lots of lines or color.
