The imposing cross church was built in the early 14th century in a predominantly late-Romanesque architectural style, easily recognizable by the layout and treatment of the walls; a lower and upper zone with lots of ornamental masonry in the upper zone. But also with a Gothic look due to the high walls and matching high pointed arch windows. In the interior, the dome vaults, the many wall and vault paintings and two remnants from the Catholic period: a sacrament tennis in the choir and a piscina.
