She does not look away.
Not defiant, not questioning, but present.
As if she knows exactly that silence is also an attitude.
Her gaze rests, but lingers, somewhere between then and later.
She carries what she takes with her: layers of time, of memory, of everything that didn't need to be said out loud.
There is movement in her stillness.
A story that neither begins nor ends, but breathes.
She seems to be listening to something we don't hear,
or perhaps she recognises something of herself in us.
This image is not about perfection.
It is about staying put.
About taking up space without explanation.
About softness that is not weakness,
and strength that doesn't need to shout.
On the wall, she asks nothing.
She only reminds.
That looking is also a form of speaking.
