Wonderful beautiful grey seal pup, lying here resting and waiting for its mother to feed it again. The mother does this for four weeks and then the pup has to do it herself. Until then, the lanugo protects the pup from the cold on land. After about 4 weeks, it starts shedding and the pup loses the white fur.
