The Amerongse Bovenpolder is a landscaped 45-hectare nature reserve on the Lower Rhine near Amerongen in the Dutch province of Utrecht. Work was completed in 2014. The area is located between the former brickworks site near Elst and the Amerongen/Maurik weir and is part of National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug. It consists of a marsh and lake landscape bordered by the Utrechtse Heuvelrug with a steep ridge. A seepage channel, the remnant of an old, silted-up river arm, runs straight through the entire Bovenpolder. Management consists mainly of the use of large grazers.
