About ‘Zeeland's Vastness’ by Thuur Kurvers

This is Zeeland as it is etched in the memory. An endless, open polder landscape, bisected by a narrow ditch that guides the eye like a natural line towards the horizon. Reeds on the left, pasture on the right, and above it all an imposing sky filled with clouds that takes up more than half the picture.

What makes this work so special is the tranquillity it exudes. There is no hustle and bustle, no rush. Just water, grass, sky and light. Note also the small details: the reflection of the clouds in the ditch, the cows barely visible in the pasture in the background, and the row of trees marking the distance like a dark streak.

This is a piece for those who love space. It exudes the typical Zeeland expanse and gives any room a sense of openness and tranquillity. This piece fits beautifully in a light, modern or rustic living space. The green and blue tones bring nature and calm indoors, and the sweeping landscape gives even a small room a sense of space.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
