The Plompe Toren (also called Plompetoren) is a church tower on the Oosterschelde estuary, a few kilometres south of Burgh-Haamstede. The tower (23 metres high) is the only remnant of Koudekerke, a village on Schouwen-Duiveland that has since disappeared into the Oosterschelde.
The tower not only offers a nice historical story; it also offers a great view over the plains of Zeeland. Here the sun and clouds play with the landscape on an autumn day.
