The weather conditions for this photo were perfect. It was cold, so there were few people on the beach. So also few footsteps. It was quite foggy all morning, but when I arrived at the beach the sun was just breaking through. The first shadows presented themselves on the newly washed beach. The green moss, stuck to the side of the poles, seemed to light up and contrasted beautifully with the gray-brown poles. Because of the fog that still hung over the sea, the beach and the foggy sky almost seemed to merge into one another.
