The cheetah is standing slightly to the left of the photo, looking slightly oblique to the right. The eyes are a deep reddish-brown color and the markings on the head are easy to see. Behind the animal we can vaguely see the outline of a second one standing behind it.
The light comes from behind so the hairs on top of the head are nicely backlit and clearly visible. Because the cheetah is still quite young the photo has something cute about it.
The photo was taken at a cheetah sanctuary in Namibia, near Etosha National Park, in Africa. I was on safari here at the time.
