The picture was taken on the North Sea during a photography excursion on a fishing boat.
The follow in bleed is a Gannet, this seabird lives its entire life at sea, except in the breeding season when they come ashore to mate and feed their young. You just have to put up with flying and hovering all year! ;-)
The sea was relatively calm this day, nevertheless a number of people got seasick, not me by the way!
Unfortunately, we did not come across only a few Gannets this day, which meant we were unable to capture them diving in the sea, which was a real bummer.
In the end, I made the photo in black and white, which looked very nice in this photo because of the dark clouds and the black wings of the Gannet.
With its minimalist look, this photo fits into almost any interior, perhaps best in a room where there is already a lot of colour.
Enjoy my photos, I do too!

Recently I've started exploring deepsky photography, which still requires some practice! To be continued.....
