I have given this picture the title of a Greek song: Thimizis Kati Apo Ellada, or: You remind me of something about Greece, written by Fivos and sung by Thanos Petrelis.
High above Athens, from Lycabettus hill, you can really see how big this city with its 3.5 million inhabitants is.
This hill is the highest in Athens and 277 metres high. It is named after the wolves that are said to have lived on this hill. The view from here is phenomenal.
I chose not to focus on the view here, but on the Greek flags with the blue sky, which nowhere seems to be as intensely balmy as here.
They wave in the wind, which has free rein here so high up.
I took this photo in early May 2024 on a bright 2nd Easter (Greek Orthodox Easter usually falls on a different date to Easter according to the Gregorian calendar).
A picture for the true Greece lover.
