This little youngster was really eyeballing me but he was not shy! Het Haaksbergerveen, ruim 600 hectare groot, is een van de mooiste hoogveengebieden van Nederland. Hoogveen is een zeldzame grondsoort, die maar op enkele plaatsen in ons land voorkomt. Dit aantrekkelijke gebied ligt aan de zuidkant van Haaksbergen tegen de Duitse grens aan. The Haaksbergerveen, more than 600 hectares, is one of the most beautiful moors of the Netherlands. Bog is a rare type of soil, which only occurs in our country in a few places . This attractive area is on the south side of Haaksbergen, near the German border.
