About "Yellow tulip bent down on oak table"

About the artwork

This yellow tulip stands with a bunch of other tulips in a glass vase on an oak table. On the left of the picture, a small piece of the vase is just visible. You can also see a leaf of one of the tulips in the vase. The stem of the tulip is also visible and it makes the connection between the flower on the front edge and the small details in the background.

A photo like this begins because the vase of tulips is in beautiful light. That is reason for me to grab the camera. When I then have the camera there, the looking really starts. And so my attention has shifted from the vase of tulips as a whole, to this one tulip that has taken its own direction from the whole. I have a weakness for misfits.

I photographed the tulip with little depth of field. This created a soft image. The tulip has an almost downy appearance. The shape of the tulip, with a few petals standing out a bit, combined with the soft, not everywhere sharp image, there is also something dynamic in the image. It's almost as if the tulip is plopping down on the table just at this moment.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
