About the artwork

The Yellow-necked Amazon is native to South America, occurring particularly in areas such as southern Mexico and Costa Rica. This species can be recognised by ze yellow neck. The size of this yellow spot can vary from species to species. They usually don't get this yellow spot until around 2 years of age. Otherwise, they are predominantly green, with a small yellow dot on their forehead, with occasional yellow flares towards the cheeks. The wings are predominantly green, with red and blue highlights at the tips on the inside. Their tail is predominantly green, and often has a yellow-green spur. The outer tail feathers often have a red and blue base. This species can also be recognised by its light grey nose cap. This is covered with very small light grey to black feathers. The legs and bill are predominantly dark grey in colour. From head to crown, this species is on average 38 centimetres long, and weighs on average 420 and 450 grams, with exceptions sometimes up to 500 grams.A Yellow-necked Amazon can live to be approximately between 40 and 50 years old.

Yellow-necked Parrot on the edge of the bath. Beautiful bird that gladly sat down for a picture.
But definitely not a Bad Bird.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
