About "World map of Concrete"

About the artwork

The beauty of concrete. Handmade world map where cement/concrete plays the starring role.

In this case, the map of the world is modelled on an 'acrylic paint' painted navy blue background in an abstract style with clear and rough brushstrokes.

All the continents are made with cement and applied with palette knife. This gives the world map a rough look partly because of the relief of the concrete.

The original world map measures 160x90cm and was photographed in high resolution. The fine and raw details of the dried cement and the rough brushstrokes are therefore clearly visible in. this artwork.

This unique world map looks very nice in a cool boys' room, meeting room (of a construction company) or in a living room or interior with an industrial style that features the Concrete look.

World maps are 'story starters' and make for fun and interesting conversations both at home and at the office about the beautiful places we have visited around the world.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
