About the artwork

Before I went to Canada I knew these pictures of course, beautiful blue and green water among the mountains and forests of Canada. But when I was actually there I only realised 'it's really that blue, not photoshop'.

Emerald lake gets its name from the beautiful colour of the water. Combined with the jetty, it invites you to take a dip but that is strongly advised against, it is meltwater from the mountains and therefore terribly cold. The grit from the rock walls that comes with the water, combined with light from the sun, gives the lakes their beautiful blue colour.

Emerald Lake, located in Yoho National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, is known for its striking turquoise water. The lake offers numerous recreational activities, including hiking, canoeing, and winter activities such as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Visitors can also enjoy birdwatching, photography and picnics in the picturesque surroundings. Emerald Lake Lodge offers comfortable accommodation with lake views. The area is easily accessible by car and is close to the village of Field, about 1.5 hours' drive from Banff and 3 hours from Calgary.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
