About "Woman in the museum"

About the artwork

A woman is in a museum of modern art and looks around in wonder. There are colourful, geometric works by Kandinsky hanging on the wall. She herself is wearing a blouse with a geometric pattern. First, the pattern I would use for the blouse came into being. Later, I would look at fashion photos of women for inspiration. The setting of the museum and the woman's pose were based on one of those photos, but which works would hang there? I chose Kandinsky, because his geometric shapes interacted beautifully with her blouse. With the work, I want to evoke a sense of wonder. It reminds me to go to the museum more often, because for me that is always a source of inspiration and it also feels like going on an adventure. The technique I used for this is collage. I used pieces of paper and cardboard combined with drawing. Redrawing the artworks was a meticulous job. By the way, I couldn't find their sizes, so I made them as big as I wanted. The colours were also different for each photo, so they were slightly adapted to my style and use of colour. The whole thing was post-processed in Photoshop. For people who like art and culture, geometric shapes or colourful work. Someone who likes illustration or Kandinsky will also undoubtedly like this.

I get my inspiration from nature and like to daydream. Animals and people sometimes seem to melt together in these reveries.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
