About ‘Winter track in Dalarna’ by Jochen Fuchs

In this piece, you can see a snow-covered road – the route from the small village of Avik to Grytnäs near Leksand – winding gently through a white winter landscape. Viewed from above, the road becomes almost a graphic line against the landscape. On both sides stand trees covered in hoarfrost, giving the image a soft and tranquil feel. What I find particularly striking are the subtle reddish-brown marks on the road. That small detail adds contrast and character to the cool palette of white, grey and pale blue.

I took this photo because I am moved by silence, simplicity and the way a landscape can become almost abstract when viewed from the air. Through the drone’s perspective, you see not only a winter scene, but also an interplay of line, rhythm and texture. That is precisely what makes this image special to me. The atmosphere of this work is calm, cool and serene. For me, it is about space, tranquillity and the beauty of simplicity. The curved road also brings a sense of direction and movement to the image.

In an interior, this work brings a sense of calm and clarity. The light tones fit beautifully into a modern, Scandinavian or minimalist interior. The combination of softness and interplay of lines makes it a subtle eye-catcher for lovers of nature, winter and tranquil imagery.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
