Winter landscape in Provoo, Finland, during my stay in March 2019. This image gives me the wonderful winter feeling of earlier days in the Netherlands. Throughout the winter, it can freeze between 10 and 15 degrees here, something we no longer know and probably won't experience in the Netherlands. Because the river is frozen, there is also no shipping and it remains a beautiful image without any creeping ice.
In editing, I used reducing the highlights to accentuate the cloud parts. I also applied more local contrast to give the photo slightly more drawn lines.
As our son was studying in Finland for six months, my wife and I went to visit him during his week off from studies.
The many different colours in the photo will certainly fit into many interiors and then still give a warm feeling, despite the winter landscape.
