Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Winter contrast: Rusty sluice in frozen reeds’ by Nils Steiner

Discover the fascinating beauty of decay in the midst of a frozen winter world. This expressive mural shows two old, weathered lock mechanisms standing still in the tall reeds. The warm rust-red and orange colours of the metallic structures form a vibrant, exciting contrast to the cool, almost monochrome surroundings.

Every detail, from the rivets in the metal to the filigree stalks of the reeds, is covered in fine hoar frost that glistens in the soft winter light. In the background, frost-covered trees blur into a soft, light-coloured backdrop that lends depth to the picture.

This photograph combines the raw charm of 'industrial style' with the purity of nature. It is the perfect artwork for lofts, offices or modern living spaces looking for a striking eye-catcher. Bring the poetic tranquillity of a winter walk along the canal and the aesthetics of old technology harmoniously to your wall.

Nils Steiner

Hamburg, Germany

Good morning
I call myself an ambitious hobby photographer. I come from the beautiful hanseatic city of Hamburg and I like to shoot landscape and nature photos, but I also like to walk around the city with my camera.
If someone likes my work so much that he orders it as a print, that makes me very proud of course.
I am happy about every order.

Greetings from the most beautiful city in the world ;)
Nils
