About the artwork

Between the lively coastal towns of Burgh-Haamstede and Renesse lies a rugged and unspoilt part of Zeeland: the Vroongronden. This special nature reserve where I live as a photographer five minutes' walk away, and where the dunes turn into grasslands and scrubland, breathes peace and freedom. Here, cows and horses graze in a landscape that shows a different face every season.

In this early morning, mist hangs over the field like a soft blanket, while the first rays of sunlight slowly reveal nature. In winter, frost transforms the landscape into a serene painting of ice and mist. A place where you can wander endlessly, away from the crowds, and experience the rugged beauty of Zeeland.
Whether you are looking for a relaxing walk or just want to enjoy the view: the Vroongronden are a hidden gem on the Kop van Schouwen.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
