The mill De Adriaan is a corn mill and built in 2000 this as a replica of a mill of the same name erected in 1779 and burnt in 1932 on the same spot. It was built on the foundations of the fortification the Goe Vrouwtoren, so it stands a bit higher and catches a lot of wind. The mill is located in the capital of the province of North Holland, Haarlem, and lies on the river Spaarne. Since 2003, Molen De Adriaan has housed a mill museum and since 2004 it also serves as a wedding venue.
