A herd of pronghorn antelopes in Yellowstone in winter

by Dennis en Mariska

On an early winter morning in Yellowstone National Park, a small herd of pronghorns moves together across a hilly field covered in fresh snow. The animals move in a natural line, one behind the other, amongst the tall, white-frosted vegetation. The blurred, snow-covered branches in the foreground give you the feeling that you are observing this special wildlife moment unseen from a distance. The group’s warm, reddish-brown and white coats stand out beautifully against the cool, finely detailed winter landscape.

Atmosphere in the interior:

Whilst a single animal primarily radiates tranquillity, the herd brings a sense of connection, depth and natural dynamism into the home. The delicate textures of the snow-covered vegetation, combined with the soft white-grey and camel tones, make this a rich yet tranquil piece to look at. It fits perfectly into a rustic, Scandinavian, Japandi or modern interior and forms a beautiful, narrative-driven focal point above the dining table, the sofa or a sideboard.

Material recommendations:

When mounted on canvas or in an ArtFrame, the photograph takes on a warm, soft depth, making the reddish-brown tones of the roe deer and their surroundings feel even more natural within the room.

On matt aluminium Dibond or glossy acrylic glass, the fine details of the snow-covered twigs, the animals’ expressions and the depth of the landscape come to life with razor-sharp clarity.
Choose matt aluminium Dibond if you’re looking for a sleek, reflection-free finish.

A framed photo print with a mat creates a timeless gallery look that beautifully frames the light snow and the depth of the field.
