Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Wildflowers in South Africa’ by Corinne Welp

A photo taken in a field of wildflowers in Namaqualand, South Africa. There’s a mix of all sorts of different flowers, which is what makes it so incredibly beautiful in my eyes. It’s not man-made; in the deserts of South Africa, this is simply a natural phenomenon. I visited the area in 2016 and put together a photo book of it.

I worked in the offshore industry for 20 years.
In 2000, I bought a second-hand digital camera at a Cash Converter in Belfast. It was nothing more than a little box. I wasn’t interested in photography until I could edit the photos on the computer. I was a multibeam data processor, so I picked up photo editing in no time. Since then, I’ve always taken my camera with me. I’ve been to places with names like Nogliki and Bintulu, I’ve worked at Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong’s…
