The Saen Monourom waterfall is one of the natural wonders of the Mondolkiri plateau. Surrounded by lush vegetation, it flows with power and grace in a setting that has remained authentic. As soon as you arrive, the tumult of the water mingles with the songs of the forest. The rocks polished by time, the damp moss and the tall ferns create an almost unreal setting. Here you can picnic, swim or simply sit on a rock and meditate. The water is surprisingly cool, a real blessing after a walk under the Eastern Cambodian sun. Few travellers venture here, making it a perfect destination for those who shun the crowds. You can also discover the local traditions, thanks in particular to the indigenous Bunong populations who live nearby and preserve this place with respect. A setting that is both wild and soothing, ideal for reconnecting with the land.
