"Walk in the Fields"
This pastel-coloured flower still life features a bouquet of wildflowers picked straight from the roadside. I made this painting after a short cycling holiday with my husband and the kids. We found butterfly wings of a day peacock, went to catch frogs, the children dragged stones and branches and at the roadside we picked a bouquet of wild flowers (or was it weeds?) The flowers you see include barnyard wormwood and red clover. As a nature lover, I can greatly enjoy wandering through nature with the children.
This painting was made by Anita Letuve, she likes to paint nostalgic flower still lifes with insects and butterflies.
