It is actually nothing more than a flat white surface. a cotton sheet. But just as shapable as water. It looks like waves. It can flow and bend, rise and fall back again. Any shape is possible but also any shape can disappear again. It brings to mind smoothly laid tables for a dinner party, cool bathrooms and bedrooms where wide beds with smooth tight sheets lie invitingly made waiting for the weary man or woman to lay down to rest. Yet this is nothing more than a quickly taken picture of a sheet hanging from a market stall. Waiting for a buyer who then makes his bed with it and then later sleeps the sleep of the innocent under the cool sheet.
