This enchanting, warm autumn landscape in sunny October invites you to take a relaxing walk through the forest and across the fields of the breathtaking Brandenburg countryside. It was taken on 27 October 2015 during an extensive stay in the district of Ober-Spree. Bright leaves of deciduous trees in shades of orange, yellow and red lend the autumnal image motif a warming atmosphere and fit perfectly into living and working spaces. The inviting country road leads directly into a dense mixed forest inhabited by pines, birches and deciduous trees. Pure nature and simultaneous refuelling of the human body and spiritual soul.
Autumn, as one of the four meteorological and astronomical seasons, is the season between summer and winter. In the temperate zones, it is the time of harvest and leaf fall. In autumn in the northern hemisphere, the sun appears to move from the celestial equator to the Tropic of Capricorn. Astronomically, autumn begins here with the equinox on 22 or 23 September, but meteorologically and biologically it is usually set for early September. For the southern hemisphere, the astronomical start is on 20/21 March. Autumn ends astronomically on 21 or 22 December in the northern hemisphere and on 21 June in the southern hemisphere (winter solstice).
