This painting is my quiet tribute to the fleeting, golden moments of early friendship. I wanted to capture the way children stand together — not always facing the viewer, but always connected. Their backs are turned, and yet, they tell us everything. Each posture, each bow, each gesture speaks of trust, playfulness, and unspoken understanding.
I used soft, layered brushstrokes and muted tones to create a dreamlike atmosphere, as if this memory is gently fading with time, yet remains vivid in emotion. The palette is intentionally nostalgic, like an old photograph brought to life. These four girls — perhaps sisters, perhaps strangers — symbolize the innocence of companionship before the world teaches us to guard ourselves.
To me, this is not just about childhood. It’s about the first time we learn what it means to stand beside someone — quietly, honestly, and fully present."
