About "Whispers in glass"

About the artwork

In this image, the leaf is gently faded - no longer in its full glory, but still represented only by wafer-thin contour lines that glow sharply against a dark, blurred background field. The edges of the leaf are subtly framed by ice pearls and hoarfrost, as if the surface of the leaf were caught in a cold crystal web.

The background is a sea of whispered bokeh: blurred patches of light that recall sparkling snow or icy drops at dusk. These spots form a soft, atmosphere-laden environment among which the leaf appears like a shadow. The light falls contrastingly but delicately, drawing along veins, intersections and edge fragments - accentuating what remains, not what has disappeared.

The atmosphere is serene and introspective; the work invites silence and attention to what subtly remains - the quiet elegance of impermanence. It shows beauty in decay, light in shadow, memory in transparency.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
