About ‘Where the wind blows’ by Sander Poppe

On an early summer morning on the Westerschelde at Hoedekenskerke, the Zeeland landscape unfolds in all its glory. As the wind blows briskly across the water and the clouds pass quickly, you enjoy breathtaking views across the dyke. To the left is the cosy harbour of Hoedekenskerke, where colourful boats bob on the water. To the right, the imposing Westerschelde stretches out towards the horizon, with the rippling water adding to the atmosphere of peace and space.

Slowly, the rising sun begins to colour the cloud cover in brilliant shades of pink, purple and orange. This special morning light creates a unique atmosphere; ideal for nature lovers, hikers and photographers looking to capture the Zeeland landscape. The combination of the sturdy dike, the expansive water and the harbour gives Hoedekenskerke its characteristic charm.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
