On this night in June 2024, we were at the Dyrhólaey viewpoint in Iceland to photograph the puffins. When we had finished, we walked to the car under a very cloudy sky. Suddenly the clouds opened up over the endless black beach. So we quickly swapped the telephoto for a wide-angle lens and grabbed the tripod. The scenery was breathtaking. The wind caused the rays to change from minute to minute. For me, this image is the most impressive of the series.
