About the artwork

In the first light of day, the stone-carved face of the Bodhisattva Lokeshvara awakens, as if an ancient breath were flowing through the walls of Angkor Thom. His face, carved from countless blocks and yet in perfect harmony, carries a calm that has remained unchanged for centuries. The sun feels its way over the contours, emphasising the fine lines of his smile and making the wisdom that rests in his gaze seem almost tangible.
Here, in the Bayon Temple, time does not seem to pass, but to gather in the stone. Every crack, every trace of moss tells of rainy seasons and warm tropical nights, of the endless cycle of becoming and passing away. And yet Lokeshvara stands steadfast - a guardian of compassion, a silent witness to human longing.
His smile, gentle and untouchable, carries something comforting: a message that does not need to be spoken. Those who linger in front of this monumental presence may feel a spark of the serenity that spreads from the centre of the temple.
Between the shadows of the jungle and the golden breath of dawn, the world seems to stand still for a moment - carried by the peaceful face of the Bodhisattva that has watched over Angkor for centuries.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
