The Jaguar XJR is the most powerful XJ produced by British car manufacturer Jaguar. The model is nearing its end; rumour has it that Jaguar is working on a successor to the XJ, and with it the sportier R will disappear. The car is partly made of aluminium; if sheet steel had been used instead, it would have weighed 200 kg more. The car rests on a CATS chassis with air suspension and adaptive shock absorption.
