About "Whale tail"

About the artwork

Colorful image of a whale's tail in the water on a light taupe background.

This work I made especially for 'Our planet week' with the theme of this work 'Oceans'. The image is inspired by the beautiful earth we live on and the beauty that can be found here. The grandeur and grace of the movement of a whale has always fascinated me. That grandeur in combination with the smooth water is captured here by looking at the reflection of the water on the tail with a lot of detail.

This gives the work a warm and cool but also warm feeling. Earth tones have been used to strengthen this feeling. The work was created digitally on a tablet, but because of the rough drawing strip, it looks like it was painted. This work is a real colorful eye catcher in your interior.

Because of the many details, up close this work is an abstract painting, but the further you stand from the work, the better the whole can be grasped. The work is therefore perfect for large formats as a real statement in your home.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
