About "Whale in sunbeams"

About the artwork

A humpback whale slowly swims up through a sea of light. The sun breaks through the surface of the water, illuminating the coral in soft hues of peach, ecru and gold. The image captures the enchantment of weightlessness and light - a peaceful dance underwater.

In the Golden Reef series, the ocean shows itself in its softest form. Dolphins, a humpback, fish and sea turtles move slowly through milky turquoise water, as if time stands still for a moment. Sunlight streaks gold through the water, making each scale and wave glow like liquid light. The paintings exude calm, elegance and a touch of nostalgia - a tribute to the serene beauty of marine life in the golden hour.

The inspiration for this series comes from my childhood memories of Jacques-Yves Cousteau's documentaries, when ocean light was still warm, grainy and poetic. That same softness and wonder return here, translated into a contemporary, interior-friendly aesthetic in which tranquillity and light play the leading role.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
