I took this long exposure shot of the breakwater on the beach at Westkapelle, Zeeland, Netherlands. Because the sun was behind me, the posts of the breakwater were beautifully exposed. By using a slower shutter speed in combination with a grey file, the seawater became misty and dreamy which creates a different image. By waiting with the shot until the water flowed back into the sea, beautiful lines and the movement of the seawater became visible. In this shot, the head piles of the breakwater are visible which created a very different image.
