During an early walk through the dunes near Nieuw-Haamstede, I kept seeing the Westerlichttoren or West Schouwen emerge.
This is not surprising, as the tower is one of the tallest lighthouses in the Netherlands. It is 53 metres high, but its appearance is particularly impressive.
The red and white in a spiral upwards, it stands out against the blue and green in the photo. The early morning sun gives a warm atmosphere to the photo.
