Wester-Schouwen lighthouse sticks out well above the dunes, which is of course handy for ships at sea.
The path takes you from the car park to the beach. I took the photo from the highest point on the path.
The photo particularly appeals to me because there is a lot to see in it, making you discover something new every time. For example, notice the shadows on the path; the bench standing at the bend: what would you look at if you sat there for a while? Or the roof of cottage to the left of the lighthouse. It makes the lighthouse look even taller. And the clouds in the blue sky make it look a bit more exciting than a bright blue sky.
