Churches are always fascinating, especially when I travel I like to visit places of worship. I came across this door in one of Dubrovnik's many churches. The beautiful old-green colour exudes peace and calm, a welcome change among the bustle of fellow tourists.
The churches are maintained by nuns, whom you see walking around the old town a lot. Crazy in my eyes in these modern times, but so fitting to the street scene here.
The door is only a small part of the city's overwhelming architecture, definitely worth a visit.
This picture will fit very nicely aesthetically into the interior. The lines and colour will create an interesting yet soothing image. In a hallway, large room or perhaps even in a shop or classroom. A conversation opener about what all happens behind this door and which people this door has let in. Let your imagination run wild!
