As an abstract art photographer, I am always looking for the beauty in the everyday and the ephemeral. This work from the series "Weathered Harmony," is a perfect representation of my fascination with texture and decay. My inspiration for this work comes from the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, which celebrates the beauty of imperfection and impermanence. The mood I want to set with this is one of serene contemplation and appreciation for the natural processes of decay and renewal.
