This work shows an abstract close-up of a delicate, translucent fabric in light blue with an undulating structure. The soft texture and reflective light create a shimmering, almost ethereal visual effect. The inspiration for this image was the interplay of light and movement in fine textiles - a moment in which materiality and atmosphere merge into a visual unity.
The creative process focussed on staging the natural wave form of the fabric. Targeted lighting and the choice of perspective were used to emphasise the transparency without losing the structure. The visual language is abstract, reduced and open to interpretation - it invites contemplative contemplation.
The work is particularly suitable for modern, minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired furnishing styles. It is also effective in light-flooded rooms or as a calm accent in clearly structured interiors. Stylistically, it can be categorised as abstract photography with a textile and light-related focus, with echoes of material art and light studies.
Its speciality lies in the combination of transparency, movement and light reflection - it looks like a captured moment of lightness that enriches rooms with visual calm, depth and elegance.
