Inspired by Claude Monet, I have created an album of paintings of water lilies. Monet did a lot of paintings of water lilies.... He drew inspiration from his own garden. He became world famous with these paintings that hang in various museums.
I painted this water lily with oil pastel. You can work in layers on top of each other, creating depth and contrasts. The pink-white leaves face the sun. The green-blue leaves reflect in the water where you can also see small water droplets.
This is the original, which I edited in different ways with Photoshop in different colours and also cropped.
