"Warm country colours: The hydrangea leaves" is a macro photo of hydrangea leaves in various stages of decay. In some parts the leaf is already just a skeleton of veins, in others you can still see part of the leaf between the veins, but even here you can already see the beautiful vein structure very well.
The background is somewhat icy in texture due to a separate material, but warm gold - yellow - brown in colour. If you zoom in on the work, you can see this beautifully.
This work seems to me to look good in a rural interior (in terms of subject matter as well as colour). I found the hydrangea leaves in my garden and liked them so much that I cleaned them well, then photographed them in such a way that the texture of the veins comes out nicely, but the background is also distinct. This gives a certain ambience to the whole thing.
This piece could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the dining room, kitchen, bedroom or just above the sofa! (Also of course beautiful in business spaces such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!)
