The modern architecture of the new Rotterdam office building rises high into the blue sky and contrasts with the old warehouses of the port of Rotterdam. These original warehouses are being transferred into apartments. They get new hearts, as a symbol of the city of Rotterdam itself, after it was destroyed in World War II.

I came this close to not being involved in photography. My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic, with the biggest parallax error you could wish for! So I always had pictures of people without heads.
