Waiting for the right wave
Waiting for the right wave. With feet in the surf. The wind howls the surf roars with force on the beach. The lines of kiters and in between stands the windsurfer waiting for his chance at the good waves. On the other waves, the kiters make high jumps. This windsurfer's wetsuit has already suffered considerably from the surf.
With my work as a street photographer, I show the rough, unpolished sides of city life. With my photos, I try to capture the beauty of everyday moments. The viewer can then invent his or her own story to go with it. I also have a fondness for industrial environments, such as harbour sites and factory buildings, where traces of the industrial past are still present. In doing so, I try to photograph subtle details, using both digital and analogue cameras.
Dive into the world of 'Zaankanter op avontuur' and discover the frayed edges of everyday life through my lens.
Zaankanteropavontuur.
Always on adventure and looking for industrial landscapes and details. And I do a lot of street photography. Walking through the streets, old villages and city centers.
I photograph mainly with an analogue Yashica 635 and a Ricoh AF 5.
