The blue of the wharf cellar doors colours nicely with the stormy sky, and the lamppost in the foreground is a reminder of what it must have looked like in the past.
The sculpture combines the warm stone colours with the cool blues of winter. It exudes tranquillity and the immutability of the old city centre.
