Mount Etna in Sicily, a beautiful place. Like walking around on the moon, especially if you walk around a bit lower on Etna, It's just black there with the occasional tuft of grass. Here you could just feel the heat from the lava underneath. This was the crater you were just allowed to go to on your own, someday I hope to go back and then go to the crater that was the most active at the time (and so you were only allowed on with a guide). What I love about this photo is the 'man' in the middle. This photo is my first ever photo that I printed large myself and which hangs here above my sofa. That doesn't happen quickly, because I only have a small house and not much room for large works on the wall. But for this one, I gladly make an exception.
