About "Vlissingen skyline"

About the artwork

Who doesn't know Vlissingen? Recognisable by its skyline. The light is well balanced with sky and beach. A photo to look at longer, the people, the birds. The buildings are also colourful and easy to see. Do you see the buoy? Nothing has been taken away but nothing has been added either. There is also a photo available that I did add something. A window, as if looking out.
According to wikipedia: The Vlissingen skyline is characterised by a combination of historic buildings and modern architecture, with the coastline and harbour as prominent features.
Notable points in the skyline are:
The Sardine Tower: At 85 metres high, this modern apartment complex is a striking and recognisable element in the skyline.
The promenade and beaches: The long coastline with the Vlissingen promenade is a defining sight, overlooking the shipping on the Westerschelde estuary.
Port and maritime elements: As a port city, Vlissingen exudes a maritime atmosphere. The skyline reflects this with elements such as the pilotage and the Scheldt wharf.
Historic buildings: The city's historic buildings, including old port buildings, contribute to its varied silhouette.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
